Hello Grade 11 Family Studies! This is Ms. T welcoming you to your Family Studies class during school closure. I have a short unit on relationships, communication and conflict management that I'll be delivering to you over the next 3 weeks with the help of Ms. Blandford and this blog. Now that we're all social distancing, maintaining our relationships feels more challenging, but it's even more important for our well-being. If you live with other people, you might have already been noticing that communication (and being able to deal with conflict) is also really important. This Family Studies unit is well timed, it will help you develop the communication skills you already have and you'll be able to practice the skills with the people you live with, or communicate with on-line.
